Scholar Abroad Scholarship
Studying abroad has become more than just a way to learn a language. Modern studies suggest college students need more international and cultural knowledge to successfully adapt to society post-college: having an international background is an important tool socially, professionally and educationally. NSCS proudly offers scholarship funding to help expand our members' horizons. One $5,000 scholarship is awarded each fall and spring semester and one $2,500 scholarship is awarded for the summer term
Eligibility
* You must be an active NSCS member
* The study abroad program you are attending must be accredited
* You must have applied to the study abroad program of your choice for the specified term and year
* You must have been accepted and enrolled into the study abroad program of your choice for the specified term and year in order for the scholarship to be disbursed
* Please note, all scholarships are disbursed directly to the study abroad program

Notification Date: January 9, 2009
